Until November 30, 2025, the Museo storico della Fanteria in Rome hosts the exhibition Miro’ – The Dream Builder.

The Museo storico della Fanteria presents Miró – The Dream Maker, an enthralling journey into the creative universe of Joan Miró, one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. A leading figure of surrealism alongside Picasso and Dalí, Miró is part of the iconic trio of Spanish artists who revolutionized modern art with their visionary works.
This anthological exhibition includes a special section dedicated to Miró’s collaboration with the renowned magazine Derrière le Miroir, published by the Maeght Gallery. For this magazine, the artist created authentic graphic masterpieces. Alongside these works, visitors can admire paintings, drawings, ceramics, books, and photographs that illustrate Miró’s extraordinary artistic journey.
Miró – The Dream Maker delves into the universe of Joan Miró, the poet of the joy of living, through works that celebrate the playful aspect of art. His creations are not mere images but true emotions, capable of evoking immediate sensations and profound inspiration.
The exhibition features loans from prestigious Spanish and French museums, showcasing around 80 works, including paintings, tempera, watercolors, drawings, sculptures, and ceramics. Enhancing the experience, the display also includes graphic works, books, and documents. Visitors will also enjoy a multimedia section with photos and videos, offering a glimpse into both the private life and public legacy of this great master of European surrealism.
