The exhibition
After the great international success, with over 6 million visitors worldwide, the Balloon Museum returns to Rome in the spaces of La Nuvola with Euphoяia – Art is in the Air. The exhibition includes 20 impressive and interactive installations, designed to tell and celebrate euphoria through the language of contemporary art and creative innovation.
Euphoяia – Art is in the Air proposes a profound reflection on the transformative power of art, enhancing the lightness, interaction and communicative character of Inflatable art. The works are transformed into spaces dedicated to involvement, wonder and exploration, reinterpreting the inflatable and its numerous variants in an innovative key linked to visual art. Each installation invites visitors to actively participate, transforming the experience into an emotional and immersive journey.
The talents present in the exhibition include Carsten Höller, Philippe Parreno, Martin Creed, Marta Minujín, Hyperstudio, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, Ryan Gander, A.A. Murakami, Karina Smigla-Bobinski, Cyril Lancelin, Alex Schweder, Quiet Ensemble, SpY, Nils Völker, Camille Walala and Sun Yitian.
The Balloon Museum is a unique, traveling contemporary art project entirely focused on the experience of the public. The simplest and most authentic elements of childhood are reinterpreted and transformed into powerful artistic tools, offering a creative response to the changes in the global social and cultural landscape, with a unique approach that combines emotion, spectacle and interaction.
