How do I get to the city centre of Rome from Fiumicino Airport also known as Leonardo da Vinci International Airport?

When you arrive at Fiumicino go straight to the train station and catch the shuttle train to Rome Termini. Trains leave every half hour at 06 and 36 minutes past the hour. The first train leaves at 06:37 a.m and the last one at 11:37 pm. You can buy a ticket inside the station near the platform. The cost of the ticket is 11.00 Euro.
A taxi from Fiumicino Airport to the city centre of Rome costs approximately 45 Euro but can be more depending on the traffic.

How do I get to the city centre of Rome from Ciampino International Airport?

Ciampino is slightly closer to Rome than Fiumicino but not as well served by public transport. You take the bus i.e. a blue bus from directly in front of the Airport. This bus will take you to Anagnina Metro Stop which is the last stop on Line A.
The bus ticket costs 1 euro (buy it directly inside the airport) and the journey time is about 20 minutes with the first departure at 06:50 and the last at 11:40 pm.
Take the Metro and get off at Termini then take the bus number 170 to the Fortyseven Hotel. The journey time in Metro from Anagnina to Termini is 30 minutes.
A taxi from Airport will cost approximately 45 euro.
